Eighty Australians die from bowel cancer every week.
More than 4,000 died in 2017 from Bowel Cancer, it has the second most deaths after lung cancer. Yet 80 people die every week from Bowel Cancer because they didn’t have their test early enough.
Take Bowel Cancer seriously and get tested every year – there is a 90% chance of survival if there is early detection. People of all ages are affected by Bowel Cancer – not just the elderly.
May and June each year are the official Rotary BowelScan months and can be purchased through your Rotary Club of Cranbourne, as well as participating pharmacies. However kits are available all year round via the official Rotary BowelScan website.
Each kit costs $15 and test results are back to you within 14 days (approx). Government kits are much dearer (unless you’re over 50) so this represents a great saving. So, don’t wait any longer, buy your kit today.
